Learning Anxiety

Augmented reality is the integration of digital information with the user's environment in real time. Unlike virtual reality, which creates a totally artificial environment, augmented reality uses the existing environment and overlays new information on top of it. Virtual reality (VR) is the name coined for any system that aims to allow a user to feel as if they're experiencing a particular experience through the use of special perception-changing tools. In other words, VR is an illusion of reality, one that exists inside a virtual, software-based world.

When connected to a VR system, the user might be able to move their head around in a full 360 motion to see all around them. Some VR environments use handheld tools and special floors that can make the user feel as if they can walk around and interact with virtual objects.

Powtoon is Web-based animation software that allows users to create animated presentations by manipulating pre-created objects, imported images, provided music and user-created voice-overs. 

PINTEREST

You can think of Pinterest like a web-based pinboard or bulletin board—but with greater organizational functionality. You can also think of it as a bookmarking tool. For example, Pinterest is a very popular tool for recipes. People can browse through images of delicious looking food, click on an image that looks good and be taken straight to the recipe instructions when they click on it. They can also save it to their own recipe board so they can access it later.

Padlet is an application to create an online bulletin board that you can use to display information for any topic. Easily create an account and build a new board. You can add images, links, videos, and more. Use a Padlet to collaborate in collecting ideas, brainstorming, and more. Use this tool easily in your Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) classroom since all students will be able to access it for free, no matter what device they have.

Moodle is the most popular education tool. As an open-source learning platform, Moodle benefits from a large and active online community, many of whom contribute to the development of the platform as well as providing advice and support on user forums.

SOCRATIVE

Socrative is a website and app that teachers can use for assessment and data collection. They can create quizzes, quick questions, space races to identify students in the classrooms. The teacher can see how each student did on the assesment and run reports to compare the data class or individually. 

  VOKI

Voki is an educational tool that allows users to create their very own talking character. With using Voki in classrooms can make lessons more fun and students will enjoy with the colorful avatars.

About Second Life

Second Life is a 3-D online virtual world where avatars do the kind of stuff real people do in real life: Buy stuff. Sell stuff. Gamble. Listen to music. Buy property. Flirt. Play games. Watch movies.

Second Life isn't just a fancy chat room -- residents can do much more than communicate with one another. For one thing, they can contribute to the world around them, creating buildings, objects or even animations. For example, you can build a school or classroom and as a teacher you can use these places with your students. You can give a lesson in second life. Its more easy way to going to school. Every person with computer and internet can join these classrooms.

BLACKBOARD


Blackboard Learn is an application for online teaching, learning, community building, and knowledge sharing. You can use any theory or model for teaching your online course because Blackboard Learn is open, flexible, and centered on student achievement. When we think about online learning, we often think of a fully online course where all content, the activities, and communication happen entirely online. However, Blackboard Learn is often used to supplement traditional face-to-face courses. In fact, if you're new to online learning, you can supplement your classroom course with an online syllabus, discussions, and online activities. As you become more comfortable, you can gradually transform your course into a hybrid or fully online course.

WHAT IS KAHOOT?

Kahoot is a game based learning platform. Its free for everyone. You can teach with playing Kahoot and have fun with your students. Its more easy way to learn new things. For example while studying for university exam, i used Kahoot. Its more enjoyable than just writing words on your notebook and try to understand the meanings. With this Kahoot application, you can play and learn at the same time and also you can play with the whole class.
